What the registry does and does not do.
Does
Credential verification, background screening, referral facilitation, administrative record maintenance, and billing processing.
Does Not
Supervise clinical care, create care plans, evaluate patient outcomes, direct nursing practice, or employ nurses.
This distinction is required under Florida Statute 400.506 and is fundamental to the registry model.
